Spending Money?

Hi All,

Am off to Bandos in 4 weeks (Woohoo!) and it%26#39;s my first time to the Maldives.

Just wondered if anyone can give me a rough estimate as to how much cash to take with me? Two of us going for 1 week full board.

Also - is it fine to take all cash in USD or should I take local currency as well?

The only cash you need is for tips in small demoninations US dollars. Anything else goes on the bill which can be paid by credit or debit card.Your bill will be in US dollars

You can pay in cash also any cash, the local currency the Ruffie isnt worth bothering with,-- it will depend on how many trips you do and how much you like a drink and eat.

2 x 1 week £700 should cover all and the airports / plane and tips. But take a card just in case.
